A pad is only as good as the dirt under it. Skid Pro brings in caliche, spreads it, and compacts it in lifts so the pad holds, for houses, metal buildings, barns and mobile homes.

We also grade lots for drainage and slope, build caliche driveways and ranch roads, and prep waterfront lots near the bays. Clearing, demolition and pad work can all be one job with one crew.

What's a caliche pad?

A raised, compacted base of caliche (a hard, limey South Texas fill) that a slab, metal building or mobile home sits on. It keeps the structure up out of the water and on solid ground.

Do you build caliche driveways?

Yes. Caliche driveways and ranch roads, spread and compacted.

Can you clear and prep the same lot?

Yes. One crew can clear the brush, take down what's there and build the pad.
