Aerobic septic maintenance, a real Skid Pro job

Aerobic septic maintenance in Corpus Christi and the Coastal Bend.

An aerobic treatment unit has moving parts: an aerator, pumps, a control panel and alarm, spray heads and usually a chlorinator. Texas requires these systems to be maintained under a contract, with regular inspections reported to the permitting authority.

A Skid Pro contract covers three inspections a year, about every four months. We check each part, write up what we find, file the report and give you a copy. Repairs outside the contract are quoted before any work is done.

Ask us yourself
Is an aerobic septic maintenance contract required in Texas?

Yes. Aerobic systems in Texas have to be maintained under a maintenance contract, with inspections reported to the permitting authority. New systems come with a two-year initial service policy, and after that you need a contract.

How often do you inspect an aerobic system?

Three times a year, about every four months. Each visit is written up and reported.

What does the contract not cover?

Repairs and parts outside the contract, and pumping when the tank needs it, are quoted separately before any work is done.

My aerobic system's alarm is going off. What now?

Note whether it's the light, the sound or both, keep water use low, and call. It's often a pump, float or aerator issue.
